In this webinar, attendees will explore recent updates on sensorimotor function, assessment, and intervention for persons with non-operative thumb carpometacarpal osteoarthritis. Practical examples of intervention approaches grounded in new evidence will be reviewed.

- Relate three new scientific findings on the CMC1 anatomy and pathology to their future practice
- Relate three new scientific findings on CMC1 OA measurements to their future practice
- Describe a multimodal approach to managing CMC1 OA
- List muscles to target for stability training and strategies to activate stabilizing muscles and inhibit destabilizers of the CMC 1
- Identify treatment techniques to target proprioceptive training to address deficits found with 1CMC OA
