The Research Division of ASHT offers a free journal club for students

For faculty and clinical supervisors
This is an excellent opportunity for any ASHT member with academic or clinical students. Dates and times are flexible according to your schedule. Please note: when choosing a date, please allow 2-3 weeks, prior, for ASHT to set up and promote.

What is it?
The Student-Led Journal Club is designed to involve and educate students on appraising the current literature as it relates to the hand and upper extremity.

  • The format is a one-hour interactive Zoom-based chat.
  • The chat is run by students under the supervision of a faculty member or ASHT member.
  • This resource is available for free to any student.
  • Dates will be posted on the website; chats will be held at 9 p.m. ET.

Interested students will need to register for each chat to allow access to the journal article and the Zoom link.

If you want to involve your students in the ASHT Student-Led Journal Club, please email Renee McDade at renee.mcdade@gmail.com.
