Anisa Kong, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, CNDT

Dr. Anisa Kong has been an occupational therapist for more than 30 years with rich experience, both in treating hand/arm injuries/pain in hand/outpatient settings, and in pain management in work hardening/conditioning programs. In work hardening/ conditioning programs, Dr. Kong has successfully helped/relieved many patients with chronic hand/arm pain and back pain. She has worked in wide varieties of healthcare settings treating many different types of patients & enhancing their functional abilities.

Dr. Kong received her undergraduate OT training in Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1986, and upgraded to a post-professional doctor degree (OTD) in 2009. She has been certified in hand therapy (as a CHT) since 1994 and certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (CNDT) since 1993. With the buildup of treatment knowledge, skills and experience, Dr. Kong has been very confident in having found a simpler and more organized solution to complicated, painful hand problems. Dr. Kong is pleased to proclaim this approach as iKNOT Approach, which is able to unknot the problems of many complicated painful hand conditions, as bad as complex regional pain syndrome.
