It's time to talk about the election — the ASHT board election, of course!
In May, ASHT announced the slate for the 2020-2021 Board of Directors. ASHT is a member-driven organization. Everything that makes up ASHT is for the membership and to promote the hand therapy profession. Members of the board need to be the best representation of this membership.
Kendyl Brock Hunter, the current Secretary/Treasurer, is running unopposed for Vice President. Kimberly Masker is currently our Education Division Director and is running unopposed for Secretary/Treasurer-Elect. There are currently three candidates for Board Member-At Large: Rob McClellan, Kim McVeigh and Stephanie Strouse. Their impressive CVs and service statements are on the ballot so you can get to know their history with ASHT and their passions as you cast your vote.
Please join us in making an informed decision to build the future of our organization. If you are a member eligible to vote, please visit our online election site and cast your vote by June 15. You will use your last name and your seven-digit member ID to vote. When you are logged in to the ASHT homepage, this number can be conveniently found if you click on the “MY ACCOUNT” button.
If you are in the voting process and reading the bios thinking you can see yourself in this role in the future, now is the time to start volunteering with ASHT. Check out the ASHT volunteer portal to find opportunities that match your interests:
We are wishing everyone a happy summer, and thank you for voting for our newest members of the ASHT Board of Directors!
