Perry became interested in the rehabilitation arena from injuries acquired while participating in extreme sports. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine-Allied Health Sciences Occupational Therapy School in 1997. He was employed at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana working on the TBI/CVA team until 2000.
Perry entered into the DME market in 2000 via employment through Empi, Inc. where the opportunity was provided to establish a loyal customer base. He was promoted to East Coast Sales Trainer for Empi, Inc. in 2003. In 2004 he started Applied Motion Technology, Inc. with a business partner. Success with Applied Motion Technology, Inc. enabled Lantz Medical, Inc. a national company, to emerge in 2005. Perry is currently working toward establishing Lantz Medical, Inc. as an industry leading company in the rehabilitation marketplace.
Perry was an adjunct professor at Indiana University School of Medicine-Allied Health Sciences Occupational Therapy School from 2014 – 2017. He received a Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership and Design from University of Indianapolis in 2018.
In his spare time, Perry enjoys cycling/running, and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, children Alexander and Lauren, and his dog Lucy.
