At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the role of orthotics to support functional outcomes in the traumatic and congenital hand difference patient
  2. Identify a variety of materials used for fabrication of static and dynamic orthoses
  3. Describe three creative orthotic designs that can be incorporated in a therapy plan of care
  4. Recognize limitations in compliance with therapeutic interventions and role of orthotics to support therapeutic goal achievement
