ASHT is pleased to offer a scholarship supporting the attendance of Wisconsin hand therapists at the 49th Annual Meeting, made possible through the legacy and generosity of the Wisconsin Hand Therapy Association (WISHTA).
Prior to its dissolution, WISHTA established a Wisconsin-specific scholarship fund in partnership with ASHT to continue supporting the professional growth and development of hand therapists in the state.
Three scholarships are available to cover in-person attendance at our conference in Milwaukee, WI, October 8-10, 2026. The deadline to apply for this year's scholarship is August 3, 2026.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be an occupational or physical therapist with a current professional license from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
- Applicants must hold a current Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission.
- Applicants must attend the ASHT Annual Meeting in person.
- Priority will be given to applicants from underserved and underrepresented populations, rural communities, people of color and individuals with high financial need.
- Applicants need not be members of ASHT to apply for this scholarship award.
How to Apply
Complete the online application, where applicants will include the following:
- Brief personal statement describing your interest in the ASHT Annual Meeting, the professional benefit you expect to gain from attending the conference and an explanation of financial need (if applicable).
- Curriculum Vitae
- Name and contact information for a mentor, program director, department head, etc. at your institution/clinic who could certify the information in the application upon request.
