Learning Objectives:
At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Evaluate individuals with progressive muscle disorders (such as Duchenn’s Muscular Dystrophy) in regard to their positional needs through hands and upper extremities
2. Effectively choose safe and appropriate interventions for hand positioning in the muscle disorder population.
3. Recognize opportunities for more creative interventions to meet the needs and goals of the patient as opposed to solely following a protocol or status quo of a diagnosis
4. Identify patients who may be appropriate for serial casting or serial orthosis interventions within populations where these interventions have not been historically used

Pediatric Case Reviews Description:
The Pediatric Case Reviews is a series of monthly live online case presentations of pediatric upper extremity diagnoses. Each month a case will be presented to include a brief description of the diagnosis, objective findings, and therapeutic interventions. The presenter will also discuss their clinical decision-making process and how they navigated any challenges.
