Webinar Description: This webinar offers a comprehensive analysis of the elbow's intricate design, focusing on its ligamentous, bony, and dynamic architecture. Designed to elevate clinical approaches to upper extremity rehabilitation, the course examines how fractures and dislocations disrupt structural balance and joint stability. Participants will analyze critical decision-making frameworks to determine precisely when and how to safely introduce and navigate movement throughout the healing process to optimize patient recovery.


Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will:

1. Identify the suggested minimal ROM requirements in the elbow for common functional tasks.
2. Identify the 3 primary constraints of elbow stability.
3. Identify the 2 specific ligaments that serve as primary restraints tovarus/valgus stress in the elbow.
4. Identify the ROM parameters during the early protected ROM for lateral elbow instability.
5. Identify three structures implicated in a "terrible triad" injury.
