At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Describe the clinical presentation of the upper limb in children with cerebral palsy
- Identify the importance of the relative contributions of spasticity, muscle contractures, and joint contractures in the evaluation of the upper limb in children with cerebral palsy
- Identify effective approaches to collaborative goal-setting related to upper limb surgery and therapy
- Identify a variety of orthotic designs and options (high temperature thermoplastics, low temperature thermoplastics, neoprene) used in postoperative management
- Describe orthotic strategies to optimize motor learning outcomes
