This webinar will provide information to affect the delivery of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation for billing and reimbursement. A panel will be available to answer practice management questions. Issues that will be covered during the webinar include:

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will:

  1. Describe the proposed 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule including any budget cuts that have an effect on the delivery of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation
  2. Recognize the conversion factor adjustment and how a change affects OT/PT reimbursement with Medicare patients. In addition, the participant will recognize the supervision requirements for OTA/PTA in a private practice setting
  3. Identify the Medicare rules and regulations in the delivery of telehealth for hand and upper extremity rehabilitation including documentation requirements and reimbursement issues
  4. Describe how the KX and other policy issues will have an effect on the delivery of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation in 2025 for Medicare recipients
  5. Explain how the assistant payment reduction and other policy issues can have an effect on the delivery of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation for Medicare recipients in 2025
  6. Identify Medicare rules and regulations in the use of plan of care exception policies and the re-evaluation of some CPT codes for practices expenses in the delivery of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation
  7. Explain the updates to the MIPS/MVPs for 2025
