Share the gLOVEs
ASHT would like to recognize a thoughtful service project the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Hand and Upper Extremity (HUE), An Academy of the APTA, has pursued in this centennial year for APTA. To celebrate the centennial year for APTA , each APTA academy will be pursuing 100 days of service. One of the purposeful give backs the APTA HUE engaged in as part of their 100 days of service was to support the ASHT share the gLOVEs initiative. We want to thank the APTA HUE for their generous contribution to our community outreach project which supports the Peter and Paul Community Services of St.Louis, MO.
Join us again this year in a community outreach program by bringing new gloves to donate to a local charity. This year, ASHT is a proud partner with Peter & Paul Community Services. Peter & Paul Community Services is an ecumenical agency, provides housing and supportive services to persons who are homeless, especially those who experience mental illness or live with HIV.
Please remember to bring the following items with you to donate to Peter & Paul Community Services:
- Winter Gloves (prefer primarily large and extra large sizes)
- Waterproof/Windproof Gloves (prefer primarily large and extra large sizes)
