Learning Objectives:
At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the goals and key components of non-operative management for infants with Radial Longitudinal Deficiency (RLD).
  2. Explain the necessity of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team approach for RLD, including the systematic screening for associated hematologic or cardiac anomalies.
  3. Describe a structured process for engaging in shared decision-making with a family regarding the timing and selection of non-operative and operative interventions
  4. Discuss effective strategies for coordinating therapeutic follow-up and maximizing adherence to a home program for families with limited geographic access to specialty hand care.

Pediatric Case Reviews Description:
The Pediatric Case Reviews is a series of monthly live online case presentations of pediatric upper extremity diagnoses. Each month a case will be presented to include a brief description of the diagnosis, objective findings, and therapeutic interventions. The presenter will also discuss their clinical decision-making process and how they navigated any challenges.
