Leadership Development Committee Member

ASHT is seeking hand and upper extremity therapy professionals (CHT; OT or PT) with leadership experience — volunteer and/or professional, e.g. within ASHT, state organizations, parent organizations, professional settings, etc. to work on leadership-related projects.

The purpose of the Leadership Development Committee is to facilitate opportunities for members to grow their leadership skills that can help them potentially transition into leadership opportunities both within ASHT and within the hand and upper extremity therapy community as a whole. This committee manages the Leadership Development Program, requiring committee members to serve as mentors to program participants. Committee members must be available for both a monthly committee meeting (first Thursday of the month at 8 p.m. ET) and the monthly module meeting (last Thursday of the month at 8 p.m. ET.) Committee work may also involve a variety of project development opportunities.
