
Sarah is an occupational therapist at Washington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine where she has worked closely with the hand surgeons for over 12 years. Sarah received her Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in 2019. She completed her research residency at George Washington University in 2015 and received the Burkhalter New Investigator Grant in 2017.
Sarah is currently an adjunct professor at George Washington University and Trinity Washington University and has taught continuing education courses on use of occupation in hand therapy and orthosis fabrication. Sarah was elected on to the ASHT Research Division in 2018.
