Course Accreditation
Occupational Therapists
The American Society of Hand Therapists is an approved provider by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products or clinical procedures by the AOTA.
This continuing education activity offers a maximum of 20.5 continuing education hours, or 2.05 CEUs. This total includes a two-day course - Saturday and Sunday (maximum of 13.0 contact hours), and a three-day course - Friday through Sunday (maximum of 20.5 contact hours).
Physical Therapists
- The New York State of Education Department Board of Physical Therapy recognizes ASHT as an approved provider of PT and PTA continuing education.
- An application for CE credit has been filed with ProCert, operated by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT). Determination of credit is pending.
- Activities certified by the FSBPT are accepted by the following jurisdictions:

Certified Athletic Trainers
The American Society of Hand Therapists is an approved provider by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been approved for a maximum of 21.0 continuing education hours, or 2.1 CEUs, of Category A continuing education. Certified Athletic Trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the continuing education activity.

Obtaining CEUs
Within five to seven business day following the course attendees will receive a CE certificate via email. Please monitor your Inbox and Spam folders for this communication. Attendees will also be able to provide feedback to speakers on the sessions they attended by completing a course evaluation that will be emailed to attendees within five to seven business days. Participants must:
- Have paid the registration fee
- Have attended sessions in their entirety (completed daily sign-in sheet)
Attendees should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
