People often daydream about what they'd do if they won the lottery, but what if our society found itself in a similar scenario? What if ASHT received a one-time, $50,000 donation?
The ASHT Board of Directors recently met in Ithaca, New York. During our meeting, we conducted an exercise to identify future fundraising initiatives that would benefit ASHT members. The question posed to the board was, “If ASHT received a one-time $50,000 donation, which initiatives would you like to see take place?”
On behalf of the ASHT board, I would like to share the suggestions that came forth. I invite you to take our survey, which lists our ideas so you can let us know which of the suggestions would be particularly meaningful to you. I’m leaving the door open to your ideas and welcome you to write them in the space provided under “Other.” I urge you to THINK BIG! Imagine winning that lottery... that “Pie in the Sky!”
